Shirley L. Lairmore, of Slidell, passed away on Sunday, Feb. 1, 2015.
She was 87 years old.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Eleanora Clavier; and brother, Everett Swanson Jr.
She is survived by daughters, Celeste Arnone, and Michelle Bennett (Alan); seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
A native of Greybull, WY, she has been a resident of Slidell since 1964. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Slidell, and was retired from St. Tammany Parish School Board.

Cheryl Norton Massey passed away on Tuesday, Feb. 3, 2015, in Slidell.
She was 67 years old.
Massey was born on July 8, 1947 in New Orleans.
She was the wife of John W. Massey; mother of Cynthia Maria Gianakis Ruiz Baker; and grandmother of Mark Ruiz Jr. and his wife Jackie.
A celebration of life was held on Feb. 8 at the Massey Residence, 2008 Robin Street, Slidell.

Michelle Lynn Terrebonne Arant passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 28, 2015, following a long battle with breast cancer, just days before her 44th birthday.
She was born on Monday, February 1, 1971 in Marrero, La.
She is survived by her husband, Dale W. Arant; daughter, Gabrielle Lynn Arant; parents, Laura and Robert Wesley Terrebonne; grandmother, Lena Terrebonne; brother, Robert Mark Terrebonne (wife, Monique; children, Coby and Connor); sisters, Tina Terrebonne (daughter, Tiffany Dalmado), and Robin Ascani (husband, Eric; children, Emma and Maria); mother-in-law, Joan Barnes; brother-in-law, Carl Arant (wife Dawn; children, Madison, Karly, and Baylee); sisters-in-law, Jenni Cummins (husband, David) and Betty Johnson (husband, Peter; children, April, Peter Jr., and Victoria); niece, Brittany Arant; and Godchildren, Tiffany Dalmado and Madison Arant.
She is preceded in death by her father-in-law, John H. Barnes Jr.; brother-in-law, Ronnie Arant; grandmother, Laura Mae Autin Guilbeau Duplessis; and grandfathers, Dudley Guilbeau and Wesley Terrebonne.
A memorial service was held on Feb. 7 at St. Luke’s Methodist Church, 5875 Canal Boulevard, New Orleans.

Evelyn S. Navaille, of Slidell, passed away on Sunday, Feb. 1, 2015.
She was 85 years old.
She was the wife of the late Harold A. Navaille; and mother of Tim Navaille; Mary Bellinger; Greg Navaille; Nancy Zimmerman; Jeff Navaille and the late, Steve Navaille.
She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
She was a native of Dallas, Texas.
A funeral Mass was held on Feb. 6 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 400 Westchester Place, Slidell.

Valerie Marie Erminger passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 4, 2015.
She was 86 years old.
She is survived by her sons, Burton Edward Erminger Sr. (Carolyn) and Barry Emile Erminger (Donna); and sister, Dorothy Dugruy.
Erminger is also survived by six grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Burton Erminger; daughter, Sharon Ann Fleckinger; and parents, Emile and Louise Meilleur.
Funeral services were held on Feb. 9 at Our Lady Of Lourdes Catholic Church, 400 West Chester Pl., Slidell.
Sharon Bennett passed away following complications related to a long battle with cancer.
She was 56 years old.
She was the daughter of the late Bobby and Louise Peek.
She is survived by her brother, Richard Peek of Orlando, Fla., who donated stem cells to Bennett during her cancer treatment.
She is also survived by her husband, J. David Bennett of 35 years; and sons, Joshua Daniel Bennett of Clarksville; and Joseph Carl Bennett and wife Rachel of Murfreesboro, Tenn.
She graduated from Ragsdale High School and from Belmont University with a degree in social work and psychology.
Funeral services were held Jan. 28 at Woodbin Memorial Chapel.

Lester B. “Bucket”?Schellinger Jr., of Slidell, passed away on Thursday, Feb. 5, 2015, in Houston, Texas.
He was 68 years old.
He was the husband of Deborah Thonn Schellinger; father of Jenny Schellinger Brennan (Ronnie), and Lester B. Schellinger III (Michelle); son of the late Lester and Rita Schellinger; and brother of A.J. Schellinger, and Ronald J. Schellinger.
He is also survived by four grandchildren: Hunter Brennan, Braden Brennan, Sydney Schellinger, and Cole Schellinger.
Schellinger was a native of Chalmette, a longtime resident of Lake Catherine, and a resident of Slidell for the past 11 years.
Funeral services were held on Feb. 10 at Honaker Funeral Home in Slidell.
Burial will be in Southeast Louisiana Veterans Cemetery.
