Christopher “Chris”?Mark Pichon, of Lacombe, passed away on Friday, May 27, 2016.
He was 48 years old.
He was the son of Gregory Pichon and Wanda Ezell Pichon; brother of Kelli Bounds; brother-in-law of Larry Bounds; and uncle of Seth and Jace Bounds.
Chris was an artist, computer whiz, lover of books and movies. He loved his family, had many good friends, two of which were lifelong friends, Gus Thoele and Eric Sanders.
Funeral services were held at Honaker Funeral Home, Slidell, on on Wednesday, June 1 at 11 a.m.

Leon A. Textor Jr., of Slidell, passed away on Wednesday, May 18, 2016.
He was 82 years old.
He was the beloved husband of Celeste S. Textor; father of Keith Textor and wife, Kelly; Michele Textor Perez and husband, David; and the late Tammy Textor; son of the late Leon A. Textor, Sr. and Hazel Bendich Textor; and brother of the late: Philp Marquar; Victor Marquar; and Lorraine Marquar.
He is also survived by his loving grandchildren: Brennan, Chase and Ethan Textor; Justin and Zachary Perez.
A memorial service was held at the Southeast Louisiana Veterans Cemetery, 34888 Grantham College Road, Slidell, on May 20.

Wesley M. Carroll, of Slidell, passed away on Tuesday, May 24, 2016.
He was 93 years old and a lifelong resident of Slidell. He was also an Eagle Scout, WWII Veteran of U.S. Army Air Corps (awarded Purple Heart, Silver Star, Air Medal), retired from US Postal Service, volunteer firefighter, co-owner of Slidell Hobby and Record Shop and Cabbage Patch Ceramic Studio, Knights of Columbus 4th Degree Member, St. Margaret Mary Parish pioneer member, founding member of G.O.S.H. and a supporter of many community activities.
He was the beloved husband of Blanche Schexnaydre Carroll for over 70 years.
He was the father of James Stephen Carroll, Anne Carroll Williams (husband William Williams, MD), Robert Travis Carroll, Sr. (wife Karen Trascher Carroll); son of the late Benjamin Travis Carroll and Nora McMahon Carroll; and brother of the late Helen Carroll Block.
He is also survived by six grandchildren, (Wesley Williams, Travis Williams, Kelly Gullen, Simon Williams, Robert Carroll Jr., Patrick Carroll); and two great-grandchildren, (Jude Gullen, Luke Williams.)
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral services at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church, 1050 Robert Blvd., Slidell, on Thursday, June 2.
Visitation from 11 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. followed by the Rosary and eulogy, then a funeral Mass at 2 p.m. Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery, Slidell.

Alton Charles Wilder Jr., of Slidell, passed away on Friday, May 27, 2016.
He was 78 years old.
He was the beloved husband of Vivian R. Wilder; father of Alton C. Wilder, III; Sandra Wilder; Chris Wilder and wife, Margaret; Jay A. Wilder and wife, Nicole; son of the late Alton C. Wilder, Sr. and Carrie Conrad Wilder; and brother of: Joseph Edward Wilder and the late Edward Joseph Wilder; Carol W. Pouey.
He is also survived by his grandchildren: Angela Lamarque; Chris Wilder, Jr; Jennifer Hornberger; Chere Poole; Kori Wilder; and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at Honaker Funeral Home in Slidell on May 31.
Rod L. Downie, a resident of St. Tammany Parish for 21 years, passed away on Wednesday, May 25, 2016 at his home in Abita Springs.
Rod was an employee of Gulf Oil and Chevron for 25 years. In his retirement, he volunteered at the Northlake Nature Center and was a Master Gardener. One of Rod’s true loves was the outdoors. He had a passion for trees, nature, and the environment. He enjoyed gardening, hiking, fishing, boating, and the Covington Farmer’s Market.
Rod is survived by his wife of 49 years, Ginger Downie; his two sons, Scott Downie and Michael Downie; and his three grandchildren, Alyssa Downie, Ryan Downie, and Elizabeth Downie.
Rod was a loving and dedicated husband, father, and grandfather. He will be greatly missed.
