Katharine Nina Anderson passed away on Saturday, July 12, 2014.
Anderson was the daughter of Timothy and Bonnie Adzamoah; sister of Larry Neelis, Kenneth Anderson, Carla Chaput and Tom, Lori Ory and John, Karen Pierce and Phillip, and Jan Nellis; and aunt of Jason, Sara, Joshua A, Jonathan, Jenna, Breck, Zachary, Jacqueline, Natalie, Gabrielle, Emily, Joshua R, Kaitlyn, Kaleb, and Karleigh.
She was preceeded in death by her father, Jesse Mack Anderson; paternal grandparents, Oscar Caldwell Anderson and Nina Anderson; and maternal grandparents, Peter and Therese Staniszewski.
Anderson graduated from Slidell High School, and was a member of the National Jr. Honor Society. She did volunteer work at Slidell Memorial Hospital for many years. She was a member of Community Christian Church and also attended Celebration Church, Slidell.
Religious services were held on July 16 at Pine Grove United Methodist Church, Slidell.

Ala Ruth Morgan Cooley, of Slidell, passed away on Wednesday, July 9, 2014.
She was 96 years old.
She was the wife of the late David E. Cooley Sr.; mother of Dona Anne Foss (Dixon), David E. Cooley Jr. (Natasha), Kathryn Cooley, Jackson M. Cooley (Gretchen) and Linda Latour (Farrell); and sister of the late C.M. Morgan, Helen Morgan and Jackson Morgan.
She is survived by 13 grandchildren; 17 great- grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
She was a native of Hattiesburg, Ms., and a longtime resident of Slidell. She taught kindergarten in Slidell for many years.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral Mass at St. Genevieve Catholic Church, 58203 Hwy 422, Slidell, on Friday, July 18 at 11 a.m.
Interment in Greenwood Cemetery, Slidell.
Visitation at Honaker Funeral Home, 1751 Gause Blvd., West, on Thursday evening from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. and at the Church on Friday after 10 a.m. until funeral time.

Allie Mae Migliore passed away on Friday, July 11, 2014.
She was 56 years old.
She was the daughter of Edward Simore Vaughan and Mary Evelyn Vaughan.
Migliore was born in New Orleans and raised in Slidell.
She was the wife of Joseph John Migliore; mother of Sanica Ray Carroll, and Ollie Mae Williams; grandmother of Alyssa Ray Carroll, Johnathan Carroll, Masen Joseph Williams, Trinity Lee Williams, and other grandchildren.

Issac Robinson passed away on Thursday, July 4, 2014, in Slidell.
He was 6 years old.
He was a native of Slidell.
Survivors are mother and step-father, Marie Bridges and Bert Jackson, both of Slidell; brothers, George Bridges of Jackson, Ms. and Antonio Coleman of Gulfport, Ms.; sisters, Nevonte Dailey of Lubbock, Texas, Keante Dailey of Bay St. Louis, Ms., and Hailey Jackson,of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; and grandparents, Francis Fisher and Walter Fisher of Slidell, and Rev. Judy Amos of Wisconsin, Missouri.
A funeral service was held on July 11, at Pentecost Missionary Baptist Church.

Mary Kate Shepard Wrenn, a longtime resident of Pearl River, passed away on Saturday, July 12, 2014.
She was 52 years old.
She was the wife of Larry Wrenn; mother of Leigh Ann Marshall; and grandmother of Jacob Marshall of Pearl River.
She was preceded in death by her father, the late Charles Barner Shepard of Slidell, and is survived by her mother, Leila Irene Gahan Shepard of Slidell; siblings, Charles Barner Shepard Jr., of Southaven Ms., Mollie Shepard Spraberry of Pell City, Ala., Rene Shepard Lanzetta of Mandeville, and George Wallace Shepard of Kiln, Ms.

He was 32 years old.
He was the father of Keelyn Hobson; son of Pamela Brown (husband Daniel), and the late Darrell Cooper; grandson of Philippine “Tina” Sims and the late Walter Sims; Elva Rita Cooper and the late Melvin Cooper; brother of Brandon Cooper (wife Shannon), Josh Randall, Alison Randall, Dustin Brown (wife Chanel), and Christoper Brown; and godson of Glen Sims, and Rose Marie Dempsey.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral.
Funeral services will be held at Lamb of God Lutheran Church, 5721 Allen Road, Slidell on Friday, July 18 at 1 p.m.
Friends may visit at the church on Friday beginning at 11 a.m.
