Bernice McHenry, of Slidell, passed from this earthly body to the wonderful presence of the Lord on Monday, January 16, 2017.
She was 91 years old.
She was preceded in death by granddaughter, Patricia Dungan; and was the beloved wife of the late Claude D. McHenry.
She was the mother of Evelyn Stanton, Carl McHenry (Sondra), Larry McHenry (Gwen), Betty Standifer (Dan); daughter of the late Arthur and Mattie Lambeth; and sister of Arthur M. Lambeth Jr., and the late Rufus Lambeth, Charles Lambeth, William Lambeth, Gladys Brunson, and Alice Ree Lee.
She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, and 19 great-great-grandchildren.
A native of Escambia County, Alabama, and a resident of Slidell, Louisiana since 1963, she was a member of Pearl Acres Missionary Baptist Church in Slidell.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral.
Funeral services will be held at Honaker Funearl Home, 1751 Gause Blvd. West (in Forest Lawn Cemetery), Slidell, on Friday, January 20 at 11 a.m.
Interment will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
Visitation on Thursday evening from 5 to 8 p.m. and on Friday after 10 a.m. until funeral time.

Sarah W. Parks, of Slidell, passed away on Sunday, January 8, 2017.
She was 91 years old.

John Alfred Stokes Sr., of Slidell, passed away on Monday, January 16, 2017.
He was 79 years old.
He was the beloved husband of 49 years to Sherry Bowden Stokes; father of John A. Stokes, Jr (Alexandra); and Jeffrey C. Stokes (Carmen); son of the late George A. Stokes, Sr. and Gladys North Stokes both of Dedham, MA; and brother of Ivan Stokes and George Stokes, Jr.
He is also survived by his loving grandchildren, Johnathan, Timothy, Meghann, Morgan, Joshua, and Finley; and numerous nieces and nephews.
John was a Chief Petty Officer in the U.S. Coast Guard, retired from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and was a member of First United Methodist Church.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral services at First United Methodist Church, 433 Erlanger Ave, Slidell, on Friday, January 20 at 11 a.m.
Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Slidell.
Visitation at First United Methodist Church on Friday, January 20 from 10 a.m. until funeral time at 11 a.m.

Kim Marie Schayot, of Slidell, passed away on Friday, January 13, 2017,
She was 62 years old.
She was the beloved daughter of Jewel L Schayot and the late William C. Schayot; and sister of: Libby Ann Schayot; William C. Schayot, Jr. (Denise); and Leonard Ray Schayot (Lynn).
She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and cousins.
Funeral services were held at Honaker Funeral Home in Slidell on Jan. 16.

Robert “Tookie”?Brouillette, of Slidell, passed away on Friday, January 13, 2017, in Slidell.
He was 65 years old.
He was the beloved husband of Marlene Brouillette; father of Christie Brouillette De Oliveira (Rei), and Robbie Brouillette Jr. (Cortni); son of Doris Johnson and the late Malcolm Brouillette; and brother of Michael Brouillette, and Larry Brouillette, and the late Ronnie Brouillette, and Charlotte Kennedy.
He is also survived by two grandchildren: Brittni Brouillette and Robbie Brouillette III; two great-grandchildren: Cayden Dupont and Calleigh Domingue.
A native of New Orleans and longtime resident of Slidell, Tookie was the owner of TNT Towing in Slidell.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral.

Francois “Frank” G. Lamulle Jr., of Slidell, passed away on Wednesday, January 11, 2017.
He was 65 years old.
He was the beloved husband of Susan Colson Lamulle; father of Lisa Lamulle and Gregory Lamulle; step-father of Colleen Garrett (Gentry) and Kenneth Colson (Candice); and son of the late Francois G. Lamulle, Sr., and Shirley Melling Lamulle.
He is also survived by grandchildren, Kayden, Jude, Ryder and Jaxson.
He was a native of New Orleans, a former resident of Metairie and Destrahan, and a resident of Slidell for the past 10 years.
He was employed by the U.S.D.A.
He was a parishioner of Our Lady of Lourdes and a member of the Knights of Columbus.
He was an avid fisherman, spending many days in Cocodrie at his family camp and Lake Pontchatrain with his parents, children and grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at Honaker Funeral Home in Slidell on Jan. 14.

Joseph A. Lalumia Jr., of Slidell, passed away on Monday, January 9, 2017, in Slidell.
He was 72 years old.
He was the beloved husband of Claudia Mouton Lalumia, and Ann Peuler Lalumia by first marriage; father of Jennifer Lalumia Brown (Barlow), Jessica Lalumia Duplantis (Casey), Rebecca Thibodeaux, Philip Bodet V; son of the late Joe Lalumia Sr. and Louise Dalier Rinaldo; and brother of Keith Lalumia.
He is also survived by six grandchildren: Cooper Brown, Kate Duplantis, Claire Duplantis, Casey Duplantis Jr., Molly Thibodeaux, Marc Thibodeaux; cousins, nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
He was preceded in death by one grandchild, Meghan Thibodeaux.
A longtime resident of St. Bernard Parish and a resident of Slidell for the past 23 years, Joe retired from Entergy Corp, was a parishioner of St. Luke the Evangelist Church in Slidell, and a lifelong member of the NRA.
Funeral services were held at Honaker Funeral Home, 1751 Gause Blvd. West (in Forest Lawn Cemetery), Slidell, on Jan. 13.
