Pamela Readeau Ricca passed away on Tuesday, August 20, 2014.
She was the wife of the late David Joseph Ricca; mother of David Peter Ricca (wife Joann); and grandson, David Allen Ricca.
She was the daughter of Patricia Rupp Readeau; and the late Melvin P. Readeau; and sister of Michelle R. Shamburger and Roderick R. Readeau.

James A. Cook Sr., of Slidell, passed away on Sunday, August 24, 2014, in Slidell.
He was 91 years old.
He was the husband of the late Verna Cook; father of James A. Cook Jr., Robert A. Cook, Michael J. Cook; step-father of Kenneth LaBorde, Marilyn Willis, Gene LaBorde, Gail LaBorde, Gorden LaBorde, Thomas LaBorde, Henry Morgan and William Morgan; son of the late Andrew and Flora Cook; and brother of the late David Cook and Andrew Cook Jr.
He is also survived by 31 grandchildren and 51 great-grandchildren.
He was a native of Monroe, La., a former resident of New Orleans, and a resident of Slidell since 1988.
He was a U.S. Navy World War II veteran, a survivor of Pearl Harbor, and a member of the Pearl Harbor Survivors Association.
Funeral services were held on Aug. 28 at Honaker Funeral Home in Slidell.

Marcel Fabian Singleton, the seventh child of Gertrude “Vivian” and Moses Singleton in Bay St. Louis, Ms., passed away.
He was 85 years old.
He served in the United States Army from 1950-1952. After completing basic training in Tacoma, Washington, he was assigned to Fairbanks Airfield, part of the Alaskan territory prior to statehood. Upon returning to the Mississippi Coast after military duty; he continued his high school education and graduated from Randolph High School in Pass Christian, Mississippi in 1957.
He married Annabelle Brooker and had one son, Marcel Jr. He was employed at Valena C. Jones School as a bus driver and janitor for several years.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Annabelle Singleton; parents, Vivian and Moses Singleton; brothers, Moses, Marion, Monroe, Milton, Maurice, Maxine Singleton; and sister, Mary Josie Watkins.
He is survived by his sons, Versell (Paula), Marcel Jr., and Ronald Washington (Michele); sister, Mildred Vivian (Ed) Cooper; 18 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren.
A Mass was held on?Aug. 28 at St. Rose de Lima Catholic Church in Bay St. Louis, Ms.

Shirley Thompson Morrow, of Slidell, passed away on?Sunday, August 24, 2014.
She was 93 years old.
She wife of the late Robert F. Morrow Sr.; mother of Patrick T. Morrow (Lise), Susan E. Morrow, Michael T. Morrow (Miriam), Gregory T. Morrow (Maureen) and the late Robert F. Morrow Jr. (Donia); and sister of Hilda June Soniat and Gloria Joyce Osoinach.
She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren.
A funeral Mass was held on Aug. 29 at St. Luke’s Catholic Church, 910 Cross Gates Blvd, Slidell.

Josephine DeBucceres Roberts passed away on Sunday, August 24, 2014.
She was 90 years old.
She was the wife of the late James L. Roberts; daughter of the late Adele Noonan Ganci and Dominick DeBucceres; sister of the late Dorothy Garey. Mother of Adele DeMola (Mike) and the late Marie Nelson (Freddy); and step-mother of Michael Roberts (Shirley) and Joseph Roberts (Mona).
She was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Tammy Jo Nelson; and step-grandson, Shane Roberts.
She is survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services were held on Aug. 28 in the Chapel of Bagnell & Son Funeral Home, 75212 Lee Road, Covington.

Gloria Abney Luther Boyles passed away on Saturday, August 23, 2014, in Waynesboro, Ms. where she lived for the past 35 years.
She was 84 years old.
She lived most of her life in Slidell.
She is survived by husband, Dennis Boyles; and children, Linda Luther Smith and Brenda Luther Coty all of Waynesboro, Ms.
She had 11 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
She is surived by brothers, Robert, Billy and Jimmy Abney; and sisters, Jerry Abney Gant and Adrian Abney Innerarity, all of Slidell.
She was preceded in her death by her first husband, Denny Luther; parents, Leo and Helen Boyle Abney; sons, Kenneth, Oscar and Mark Luther; great-grandson, Ken Luther; and brothers, Leo, Malcolm and Dennie Abney
Graveside services were held at Boyles Family Cemetery on August 25 in Waynesboro, Ms.

Patricia Van Riper Tesvich passed away peacefully on Friday, August 22, 2014, in Slidell.
She was born on Wednesday, October 11, 1944 in York, Penn. She called metro New Orleans home since 1961.
She was the wife of Stephen Vincent Tesvich Sr. for nearly 50 years; and mother of Stephen Vincent Tesvich Jr., Matthew David Tesvich, and Father Daniel Jonathan Tesvich, S.J.
She is survived by her brother, Anthony Van Riper; grandchildren, Matthew, Kaitlin and Allie Tesvich; and daughter-in-law, Sheri Tesvich.
Private services were held by the immediate family.

Vicki Marino Guillory, of Slidell, passed away on Thursday, August 21, 2014.
She was 59 years old.
She was the wife of Currin C. Guillory Jr.; mother of Tanee Janusz (Scott), Christian Gordon (Nicole), Brandi Gordon and Alexandra Guillory; sister of John Marino Jr.; and seven grandchildren.
She was a retired registered nurse.
Memorial services were held on Aug. 30 at St. Luke the Evangelist Catholic Church, Slidell.
