PATRICK OWEN DOYLE
Patrick Owen Doyle, of Slidell, Louisiana, passed away on August 17, 2023 at the age of 77. He was born in Ontario, Canada on July 15, 1946 to the late Frank Doyle and Queenie Kerr Doyle. Patrick spent most of his childhood in Wyandotte, Michigan. He is the beloved husband of Barbara Doyle; cherished father of Jeffery Doyle (Jessica) and James Grimsley; proud grandfather of Elaine Doyle; and loving brother of Jeffery Doyle and the late Karen Scalise-Ganghamer. He is also survived by a host of extended family members and friends whom he loved greatly.
Patrick bravely served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War. He earned a master’s degree from the University of New Orleans. Patrick touched the lives of many students as an athletic coach and teacher at Northshore High School. He was an avid Saints, Cubs, and Red Wings fan. Patrick was a runner and participated in various races including the Crescent City Classic. He enjoyed watching NASCAR in his spare time but treasured nothing more than the time he spent with family and friends. Patrick will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Monday, September 25, 2023 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Audubon Funeral Home in Slidell. TRACEY HURST MIDDAUGH
Tracey Hurst Middaugh, of Slidell, Louisiana, passed away on August 27, 2023 at the age of 60. She was a native of Colorado Springs, Colorado, born on May 4, 1963 to her loving parents, Jay Hurst and Elnora “Peggy” Hurst. Tracey is the beloved wife of 37 years to Auther L. Middaugh; adored mother of Ashlynn Middaugh Taveras (Mel Taveras); proud MeMe of Sofia Taveras and Shelby Taveras; and treasured sister of Kim Hurst Bond (Jeff Bond). She is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews, all of whom she loved greatly.
Tracey graduated from Pearl River High School with the Class of 1982 and attended Southeastern University. She devoted her life to what she loved most, caring for her family and creating special memories which they will cherish. Tracey was also a devout Catholic and parishioner of Saint Margaret Mary Church. She enjoyed being active in the community and was a past matron of the Order of the Eastern Star in Pearl River, LA Chapter #237 and the Pushepatapa Chapter #239 in Bogalusa, LA. Tracey will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Dr. John George Roheim, age 65, of Slidell, LA, passed away on Sunday, August 20, 2023.
Born in Philadelphia, PA, he spent two years in Israel after high school, then went to Tulane and earned degrees in Biology and Religious Studies. He followed that with graduation from Tulane Medical School with a residency in pediatrics and psychiatry, which led him to Beth Israel Hospital, Tennessee and LSU Medical Center.
He was a regular attendee at Jazz Fest, a devotee of rock and roll and lover of the performing arts. He attended services at the Northshore Jewish Congregation.
Eric Hans Sciara, age 49, of Slidell, LA, passed away on Tuesday, August 22, 2023.
A native of New Orleans East, he graduated from Jesuit High and Southeast College of Technology with a degree in computer science, becoming self-employed.
He enjoyed playing golf, fishing, gardening, painting and bowling.

Angelo Joseph “Bub” Bosco, Jr., age 76, of Lacombe, passed away on Monday, August 21, 2023.
He was a foreman for the St. Tammany Police Jury, 7th Ward, and a mechanic, besides running his own business, Bosco’s Dirt and Shell, for 15 years. He also drove a school bus for 25 years.
He enjoyed reloading ammunition and flew unmanned model airplanes, while enjoying the outdoors.
Bruce Wayne Weathers, age 66, of Pearl River, LA, passed away on Tuesday, August 15, 2023.
Born in Columbus, OH, he was a near lifelong resident of Pearl River who worked as a railroad machinist for over 35 years. He was also a volunteer fireman in the 7th district, and served time as the chief.
In his spare time he enjoyed NASCAR, the Saints and collecting every Craftsman tool to ever exist.
Cheryl D. Ridder Wade, age 66, of Slidell, LA, passed away on Saturday, August 12, 2023.
Born in Independence, LA, she lived in New Orleans before moving back to Lacombe and Slidell, where she graduated at Slidell High in 1976.
She worked in Skilled Nursing Facilities in Louisiana and Arizona, then graduated with a degree in Forensics and Criminal Justice, working at Tulane Medical Center.
She loved to travel and had a great love for animals, many that she adopted.
Lillian “Granny” Fontenot Goudeau, age 91, of Slidell, LA, passed away on Tuesday, August 22, 2023.
A native of Ville Platte, LA, then a lifelong resident of Slidell, she loved gardening, sewing and playing bingo.
Wilmer Grant Collier, Jr., age 86, of Slidell, LA, passed away on Monday, August 21, 2023.
Born in Roanoke Rapids, NC, he earned an Eagle Scout rank as a teenager, then attended North Carolina State before receiving a full Navy ROTC scholarship to Tulane. He led the drill team as commander and earned a degree in Mathematics and Chemistry.
He was commissioned in the U.S. Navy as an officer and became an attack pilot who earned many honors in Vietnam, where he flew for eight years.
He later flew for Pan Am Airways before adding a successful career in the insurance industry for four decades.
Thomas “Tod” Asten Lussen, Jr., age 77, of Slidell, LA, passed away on Thursday, August 24, 2023.
Born in Bronxsville, NY, he lived in Ohio and Baton Rouge before earning a law degree at LSU. He then entered the Army and served in Vietnam before moving to Slidell, where he began a 40-year law career.
In his spare time, he enjoyed water skiing, flying his airplane and cooking.
Daniel Giron, Sr., age 82, of Slidell, LA, passed away on Saturday, August 19, 2023.
He was born in Santiago de Cuba, Cuba.
