BRYAN DAVIDSON BARNETT

Bryan Davidson Barnett, of Slidell, Louisiana, passed away on October 23, 2023 at the age of 62. He was a native of Jackson, Mississippi, born on August 30, 1961 to his loving parents, Gay Davidson Barnett and the late Marcus Barnett. Bryan is the beloved husband of 21 years to Lori Barnett; cherished father of Rebecca Lynn Barnett; and adored brother of Barry Barnett (Mandy), Tom Barnett (Diane), Beth Schroeder (Tim) and Ann Newton (Randy). He also leaves behind many extended family members and close friends whom he loved greatly.
Bryan graduated from Abramson High School with the Class of 1980 and attended Delgado Community College and the University of New Orleans. He proudly served in the United States Air Force Reserves. Bryan was a dedicated associate at Winn Dixie Grocery for 27 years. He was a devout Christian and a member of North Shore Church in Slidell, which he loved to attend. Bryan had a special love for music and he enjoyed sharing that passion with his family and friends. His greatest joy was spending time with his family, creating memories they will forever cherish. Bryan will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him but will be fondly remembered as a generous, loving person and devoted husband.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Monday, October 30, 2023 from 10 a.m. to 12 noon. at Audubon Funeral Home in Slidell. A funeral service will begin in the chapel at noon. Bryan will be laid to rest in Audubon Memorial Gardens Cemetery following services. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made towards a scholarship fund for his daughter, Rebecca Barnett, by contacting Diane Mayo at 504-715-7373. Anthony “Tony” Joseph Gennaro, Sr., age 86, of Slidell, LA, passed away on Wednesday, October 18, 2023.
Born in New Orleans, he graduated from Hammond High where he was quarterback on the football team and named Mr. Hammond High. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve and worked in finance at Citizens Bank.
He later worked a second career with Terminix. In his spare time, he loved his backyard birds.

Raymond L. Hayes, Jr., age 86, of Slidell, LA, passed away on Wednesday, October 25, 2023.
He retired at the age of 70 from Hayes Dockside Warehouse after 40 years of service.
He was a member of the TAK and also a member of Northshore Church.

Randall “Randy” Irwin, age 74, of Slidell, LA, passed away on Tuesday, October 24, 2023.
Born in Maryville, TN, he was a U.S. Army veteran of the 2nd Armored Division and was a two-time recipient of the Purple Heart after serving in the Vietnam War, where he was a helicopter crew chief.
He worked in New Orleans at the Veterans Administration for 20 years, then worked in Austin, TX, with the Austin Independent School District.

Dale J. Troyani, Sr., age 68, of Slidell, LA, passed away on Saturday, October 28, 2023.
A native and lifelong resident of Slidell, he was a carpenter by trade who had a true passion for fishing.
