Carol A. Spencer Vieages, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 11, 2014, in Slidell.
She was 63 years old.
She was the wife of Father John Vieages; mother of Kevin Talabock, Nathan Vieages, Ananda Vieages; daughter of the late JoeRay and Elaine Spencer; and sister of JoeRay Spencer Jr.
She is also survived by three grandchildren.
She was a native of New Orleans and a resident of Bush, La. since 1993.
Funeral services were held on Aug. 15 at Honaker Funeral Home in Slidell.

Elwood Joseph Alberts, of Slidell, passed away on Friday, Aug. 8, 2014.
He was 89 years old.
He was the husband of Mary Crenshaw and the late Claire Vahle Alberts by the first marriage; father of Elwood J. Alberts Jr. (Cindy); step-father of Kathy Hill, Linda Hill, Richard McKinzie (Gina), Gary McKinzie (Sue) and Greg McKinzie (Liz); and brother of Roy Alberts, Betty Marchioni, the late Louis, Harold, Harry, Joyce Fanelli and Alfred Alberts.
He is also survived by seven grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
He was a native of New Orleans, former resident of Algiers and New Orleans, and a longtime resident of Slidell. He served in the U.S. Navy during WWII and Korea.
He was retired from the U.S. Federal Government after 35 years, worked for Southern Shipbuilding and was a real estate agent in Slidell.
A funeral Mass was held on Aug. 16 at St. Luke the Evangelist Catholic Church, 1050 Cross Gates Blvd., Slidell.

George Sidney Menard Sr., a resident of Slidell for 68 years, passed away on Tuesday, Aug. 5, 2014.
He was 76 years old.
He was husband of the late Margaret West Menard for 30 years.
He and Joan Rashid Menard had four children: Pamela Menard Boyd, Denise Menard Dunham, George Sidney Menard Jr. (wife Eileen), and Kevin Francis Menard.
He is also survived by his brother, Robert Louis Menard Sr.; step-daughters, Sloan Halus and Mary Binder; ten grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Auguste Menard Sr.; brother, Paul Auguste Menard Jr.; sister, Mary Frances Menard Alexander; and granddaughter, Michelle Dunham Burlett.
He graduated from Jesuit High School in New Orleans in 1956 and from the University of Detroit in 1961, where he graduated with honors and earned his Bachelor’s Degree in mechanical engineering. He was a member of Pi Tau Sigma National Honorary Mechanical Engineering Fraternity. He received a Master’s degree in Automotive Engineering from the Chrysler Institute and became certified as a Professional Engineer in 1963.
The service and Mass were held at St. Genevieve’s Church in Slidell on August 11.
A remembrance donation may be made in Menard’s honor for either the American Diabetes Association or a worthy Parkinson’s charity.

Patricia Ann Johnson Innerarity, a native and longtime resident of Slidell, passed away on Wednesday, Aug. 13, 2014, in Charlotte, North Carolina.
She was the wife of 54 years to James A. Innerarity; mother of Heather I. Fedele (Patrick) and Darren L. Innerarity (Joseph Warren); daughter of the late Lewis A. Johnson and late Helen Crow Johnson McCarthy; and sister of Linda J. Davenport.
She is also survived by two grandchildren.

Robert Scott Neville passed away on Monday, August 11, 2014, at home after a year-long battle with cancer.
He was 60 years old.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Fitz Charles Neville; and their daughter, Laura Neville Bryant, with whom he shared his life and his home, most recently in Pearl River.
Scott had a 34-year career as an instrumentation engineer and member of the faculty at the Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans.
He was born in Wilmington, Delaware to Maynard Neville and Vivien Swaine. He is survived by brother, (Maynard Jr.) Neville.
A service was held to celebrate his life on August 16 at Aldersgate United Methodist Church in Slidell.
Arrangements will be made by Honaker Funeral Home of Slidell.

Donald Thomas Ladner, of Slidell, passed away on Saturday, August 16, 2014.
He was 83 years old.
He was the husband of Iris Agregaard Ladner; father of Donna Ladner Fleming, Ann Ladner Watson, Virginia Ladner Hymel and Jean Iris Ladner; sister, Phyllis L. Hay; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Vivien Fountain Ladner and Clarence Ladner; sister, Beverly Quave of D’Iberville, Ms; and son, Randall Cass Ladner.
He was the owner of Slidell Easy Pay Goodyear Tire Store since 1965, and a Parishioner of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a funeral Mass on Aug. 23 at 12 p.m. at Honaker Funeral Home, 1751 Gause Blvd. West, Slidell.
Visitation will be 9 a.m. until funeral time.
